This service is for patients with a long-term condition. The service will help you manage the medicines you take for your condition. Your pharmacist is an expert in medicines and will talk to you regularly to help you get the most benefit from them.

If you or an elderly relative are struggling to manage your medication, following an assessment with our pharmacist, a medicine compliance aid may help. These provide a seven day supply of medication in a device to direct you as to the day and time when they should be taken. We dispense NHS prescriptions and will give advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines. We keep a comprehensive stock of medicines and use a fast and an efficient wholesaler service to enable us to fill all prescriptions promptly. NHS Prescriptions can be filled by us, regardless of surgery or prescriber. We collect from all three surgeries on a regular basis.

This service allows the provision of Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) through the NHS. Supplies can be made after consultation with the pharmacist. This is done in a private consultation room and with absolute confidentiality.

This service allows eligible individuals to reg- ister with and use our pharmacy as the first port of call for the treatment of common illnesses on the NHS. Once registered you can come to us at any point with symptoms and our pharmacist will treat, advise or refer you to another health care practitioner where appropriate.

We are able to offer the assessment, treatment and aftercare of minor wounds, bites and burns. Trained staff members provide this service and no appointment is not required. This is available to all persons, regardless of eligibility for NHS treatment.

In November 2014, we began to participate in a National Pilot aimed at improving Patient Safety. NHS Highland has selected Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) as it's high risk medicine focus. The main reason for this, is that NSAIDs are more likely to be associated with emergency hospital admissions, due to adverse drug reactions than any other drug class. We are registered to dispense Stoma and Incontinence appliances on behalf of the NHS. These can be delivered to your house for convenience and confidentiality.

We can provide you with the advice and support needed to help you stop smoking. We offer a twelve week service with weekly appointments at times when suit you. Where necessary, our pharmacists can identify the most suitable nicotine replacement therapy or varenicline therapy for you.
